Jodi's HAPPY Day 2009!!!!!

Friday (01/30/2009) was Jodi's b-day!!! So...that night we had a little family gathering!! We were lucky to get MOST of us together (we missed you Taylor & Rachel!!!)

I LOVE getting together with my family...whatever the occasion!!! The main reason is cause of the LOVE & excitement that is shown when we get together!! Take for instance this get-together...as I pulled into the driveway & got out of Pepe', Kannon was on the porch yelling out my name over & over & over & over again!!! I LOVE being LOVED!!!!!

Merry CHRISTmas Eve!!!! (At Uncle Rodney's)

I LOVE Family traditions!! One of my FAVORITISTS is Christmas Eve dinner & the reading of Luke 2 @ Uncle Rodney & Aunt Paula's (We miss you!!!)!! It's SOO much fun getting together with my Mother's side of the family & catching up on everything that's going on in their lives!!

This year I was lucky enough to be the narrator of Luke 2!! Normally during the reading the smaller kids will set up the Little People Nativity scene, but it was unable to be located this year!! There's always next year!!!

I'm SOOOO grateful for Family traditions & the way that they keep my Family together!!!

Families ARE Eternal!!!!

Thursday (12/11/2008) my brother Charlie & his WONDERFUL wife Haley were sealed for TIME & ALL ETERNITY in the Salt Lake Temple!! It was an INCREDIBLE service for MANY reasons, but one in particular...

My uncle Rodney & I were discussing "things" in the marriage waiting room & we got talking about Paula (his wife who had passed away earlier this year after battling cancer; my Mother's only sibling) & how when he visited the temple the other day he could feel her there with him throughout different parts of the temple!! At the beginning of Charlie & Haley's sealing ceremony the sealor talked a great deal about "angels"!! He mentioned that "angels" are our LOVEd ones that had passed before us (and he gave a quote by Elder Neal Maxwell) & that these "angels" were there to witness the sealing!! This was ESPECIALLY meaningful seeing that Aunt Paula & the Grandparents on BOTH my Mother & Father's sides had passed away & were not with us...physically!! It was EXTREMELY comforting to know that Aunt Paula was sitting next to my Mother & that my Grandparents were filling the empty seats on the row next to me!!
