Kurt Bestor Christmas 2008!!!!

Tonight was the Miller Family Annual Christmas Outing!! Since returning from my mission...oh SOOO many years ago...my family has been attending some kind of "cultural event" during the Christmas season. The first 4 (or so) years we went to the annual Kurt Bestor Christmas Concert. Since then we've also attended Beauty & the Beast and Les Miserable @ the Pioneer Theater on the UofU Campus!! Well...this year we went to the Kurt Bestor Christmas Concert...AGAIN!! The year the family attendees were: Mother, Father, ME (of course), Charlie & Haley, Jared & Michole & Taylor & Rachel, and the AMAZING Jodi!!

I was quite pleased with MOST of the concert this year!! He had a few different arrangements on his usual songs which made for a nice change!! He sang my FAVORITIST song of his, Prayer of the Children, with his daughter!! That arrangement isn't my favorite but it's STILL a tear jerker none-the-less!!!

The main disappointment...really the ONLY disappointment...I had this year had to do with his most POPULAR part of his show...Twas the Night Before Christmas!! In years past two of his band members would dance around & dress up & basically...HAVE FUN for different parts of the song!! This year he had different band members & there was NO "entertaining"!! It just wasn't as enjoyable...almost boring!!

Dispite that...it was an overall good evening AND time WELL spent witht the family!!!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!
